FAQs
EpSMon app – FAQ’s
Who is EpSMon for?
It’s for adults over the age of 18 with epilepsy, to help self-manage and assess epilepsy risks between medical appointments. The app is based on the SUDEP and Seizure Safety Checklist tool we created for clinicians.
I have epilepsy but I’m seizure-free.
Why would I need it?
Even if you’re seizure-free it’s important to still have an annual review with your GP / clinician and to continually monitor and review your epilepsy. Being aware of any potential changes to risk can help you stay seizure-free.
EpSMon app – FAQ’s
I don’t live in the UK; can I still download the app?
No, at present it’s only available in the UK because the project is largely funded by bereaved families in the UK. However, we do hope to make it available to other countries with further support / funding.
