Seizures are unpredictable and it’s not possible to know when they will happen.
Ten per cent of people will have a seizure at some point in their life so it’s useful to know what to do if you see this happening. If safe to do so, check if the person having the seizure is wearing a medical ID bracelet. They may be carrying a care plan or emergency contact details.
